Burning of a paper by a lens.(लेंस द्वारा कागज का जलना)

Ans:-

Magnifying lens is a converging lens , so it converges the rays of sunlight falling on it to a single point on the paper. Since the rays of sun are heat radiation, So it raises the temperature of the paper and thus it starts burning.(मैग्नीफाइंग लेंस एक अभिसारी लेंस है, जो किरणों को अभिसारित अर्थात एक जगह इकट्ठा करता है। जब सूर्य का प्रकाश इस लेंस पर पड़ता है तो यह किरणें अभिसारित होकर पेपर पर एक जगह इकट्ठा हो जाती है। जिससे सूर्य की किरणें ऊष्मा उत्पन्न करती है। जिस कारण तापमान में वृद्धि होती है और कागज जलना शुरू हो जाता है)
